An imaginary Milky Way, whose brightest stars are called Livanjski sir, Kajmak, Sir iz Mijeha and Skripavac, winds its way along the irregular contours of the Dinaric Alps in western Bosnia and Herzegovina, connecting Livno to Trebinje. A dairy terroir where ‘cheese is never just cheese’, but tells an ancient story of peoples, traditions and cultures, with women as its protagonists throughout the ages.
